NOBLEBORO — The Medomak seventh grade baseball team opened the season Tuesday, April 29 with a road contest against Nobleboro/Jefferson in Nobleboro. 

The visiting Riverhawks were able to start the 2022 campaign off a 1-0 record thanks to a 7-2 victory. 

At the plate for the guests were Liam Feeley (double, two singles), Lanny Morrison (two singles), Jacoby Miller (single), Wyatt Hood (single), Gavin Parlin (single), Kollin Donlin (single) and Zac Curtis (single). 

At the plate for the hosts were Jacob Hendrickson (double), Wyatt Flagg (single), Josh Demeritt (single) and Gage Hopkins (single). 

Working the mound for Medomak were Morrison and Feeley, the latter closing the game out with six strikeouts among the seven batters faced.
