BRISTOL and THOMASTON — The seventh grade baseball team at Medomak Middle School hit the road for two contests last week, falling in both contests. 

Bristol 12, Medomak 4

In a five inning game shortened by Bristol's time limit rule, which allows no inning to start after 5:45 p.m., the visiting Riverhawks fell Tuesday, May 10.

Medomak plated a run in each of the first two innings and two more in the fifth frame. Bristol, meanwhile, tallied two in the first inning, four in the third and three in each the fourth and fifth innings.  

Hitting for the Riverhawks were Liam Feeley (2 singles), Nolan Wellman (single, run), Wyatt Hood (run), Lanny Morrison (run), Keith Miller (single), Gavin Parlin (single) and Jacoby Severson (run).

At the plate for Bristol were Orne (three singles, two runs), Pierpont (single, two runs), Gamage (three singles, three runs), Curtis (single, two runs), Farrin (two singles, two runs), Chesebro (two singles), McArdie (single, run), and Powell (single). First names were not available.

Oceanside 3, Medomak 2 (in 7 innings) 

In a seven inning contest in Thomaston, the visiting Riverhawks were narrowly edged Thursday, May 12 by the host Mariners. 

Medomak scored both its runs in the third inning. Oceanside, meanwhile, plated a run in the first and sixth innings before two singles in the seventh frame gave Oceanside the walk-off victory. 

Hitting singles for Medomak were Lanny Morrison, Avery Kunesh-Lowe and Gavin Parlin. 

At the plate for Oceanside were Nick (two singles, two runs), Hunter (single), Leighton (single, run) and Josh (single). Last names were not available.
