Vote down the January 14 Five Town CSD Bond
Sun, 01/05/2025 - 8:58pm
The January 14 Five Town CSD bond referendum for $7.3 million includes $2.6 million for an artificial turf field. Artificial turf is a chemical-laden amalgam of used tires that sheds microplastics, poses short- and long-term health risks, and contaminates ecosystems, as documented by the Children’s Environmental Health Center and many others.
Voters in Camden, Rockport, Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville should vote against the current bond proposal on January 14 until the Five Town CSD drops its misguided proposal for artificial turf.
