ISLESBORO — Northport Yacht Club is hosting its 28th annual Around Islesboro Race, Saturday, Sept. 6. Entry is open to all boats with skippers eager to enjoy a late summer sail. Racing is informal and attracts racers and cruisers.

Proceeds from the race benefit the youth sailing program the teaches youngers basic sailing and racing skills. Nearly 100 students participate each season.
