As a pediatric nurse practitioner in our community for the past 15 years, I am thrilled to join the Knox Clinic team and contribute to its exciting expansion into a community health center.

For over 25 years, the Knox Clinic has been a trusted source of quality care for adults in our community. My addition to the team will allow that same exceptional care to be replicated across ages and the lifespan, creating a truly holistic approach that supports full families and caregivers. This next chapter will provide much-needed services to people in our area, all under one roof. I look forward to welcoming patients—new and old—to this beautiful space where we can continue building a healthier, more connected community.

My favorite part of pediatric primary care is being part of a family’s team as they welcome their new babies and grow together. The phrase "it takes a village" may sound cliché, but it holds a profound truth. Quality healthcare and wrap-around services are essential for supporting families so that children can thrive. These comprehensive services ensure that everyone—regardless of background—has a place to turn when challenges arise because, at some point, life gets tricky for all of us.

As a mother, I’ve found that raising children is the most rewarding yet challenging job I’ve ever had. A strong relationship between parents and caregivers and their primary care providers make that job just a little easier by fostering trust, open communication, and a sense of belonging. These same values are already at the heart of the Knox Clinic, and I am honored to help build upon this strong foundation as we expand access to care and support even more families in our community.

I am proud to be part of this incredible journey for the Knox Clinic and our community. Together, we can make a lasting difference, ensuring that individuals and families across the Midcoast have the care and resources they need to flourish.
