In 2003, Punky married Joan Rich, with whom he shared a daughter and bonus daughter.
Punky made a new friend everywhere he went. He loved talking about family, sports, and cars.
Predeceased by his parents, uncle, and brother, Albert 'Bubba' Curtis, Jr., Punky is survived by his son Corey Curtis, and his partner, Christy Dines, of Rockland; his daughters, Sharmon Curtis, of Florida, Tara Grover and her husband, Charles, of Cushing, Ari Curtis, and her partner, Kendra Merrill, of South Thomaston; step-daughter, Alex Grotton of Warren; sisters, Cheryl Sheehan and husband, Pete, and Brenda Reynolds and her husband, Parker, both of New York; long time friend Jack Firth; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
