Anthony Lee Vaughan, obituary
ROCKLAND — Anthony Lee ‘Tony’ Vaughan, 76, died unexpectedly at home, Wednesday, August 17, 2024.
Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, March 18, 1948, he was the son of Noah McNair and Alaina Vaughan.
Enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps, Tony served overseas in Vietnam for several years before being honorably discharged in 1971.
A longtime motorcycle enthusiast, Tony was a founding member of the Jar Heads Motorcycle Club. Tony was an outgoing person who made friends wherever he went.
Predeceased by his parents and his son, Anthony Vaughan, Jr.; Tony is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rose Vaughan of Rockland; his daughters, Tracy Frederick, Missy Robbins and her husband Gus, Jamie Clark and her husband Scott; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister; as well as two nieces.
