Waldo County Dental Care accepting new adult, pediatric patients
BELFAST — Waldo County Dental Care, located at 125 Northport Ave., in Belfast, is currently accepting new adult and pediatric patients, including patients who have MaineCare.
WCDC is a nonprofit practice that seeks to improve access to preventative and restorative dental care for low-income, uninsured adults while improving patients’ overall health, employability and personal well-being. The practice offers dental cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, fillings, extractions and limited dentures.
While patients might be scheduled out several weeks to months for non-emergent dental care appointments, the practice holds space to accommodate dental emergencies, according to Waldo County General Hospital Population Health Manager Stacey Hall, who oversees WCDC.
Waldo County Dental Care serves patients of all ages who live in Waldo County and have not seen a dentist in the previous 12 months. Income guidelines start at $30,120 for one person and increase by $10,760 for each additional person in the family unit.
