Hello to all my fellow Belfast people. In June of 2000, I was elected Mayor and served three terms for eight years. I retired from Mayoring and took off two years and came back to serve on the City Council in 2009 and have served for seven terms as Councilor.

I will not be running for the Belfast City Council in November 2023.

I served nearly 23 straight years. Belfast now needs a good citizen to step up and run for the empty seat. Election papers with 25 signatures have to be filed by Sept. 6 for the November election. It's been an honor serving Belfast.
