Thomaston’s Community and Economic Committee and Knox Clinic could "do the right thing" and purchase the five-plus acre prime location on Route 1 offered for $79,000. This is the perfect location for a new Knox Clinic and a new Fire and EMS station.  This would remove the ongoing and worsening contentiousness in Thomaston.  

 

Sadly, what has been unknown to a great number of people in Thomaston is that the Knox Clinic and Thomaston Economic Committee began concocting their private plan possibly as early as 2021. Yes, private as 2022 public documents "show" planning had already begun.
