ROCKPORT — The Midcoast Recreation Center is once again hosting a winter golf league, and registration is now open. 

Play will consist of two-person teams playing a better ball format (exact instructions to be provided a week before play). 

Matches will be flighted based on handicaps; divisions will be determined on the number of registered players. 

The league will run for six weeks, starting the week of Jan. 16, with an additional two weeks of playoffs. 

The deadline to register is Jan. 9 with a $50 cash payment per team. The dollar bill(s) can be dropped off at the MRC front desk. League fees does not include simulator time; please see the front desk or the MRC website for rates. 

Matches will be played Monday through Sunday on your own time. Simulator time is to be booked directly with the MRC by calling 207-236-9400 or stopping by the front desk. 

Further information on courses, rules, score submission, directions and FAQs will be provided upon registration.
