Trekkers thanks community for successful annual auction fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who supported Trekkers’ Annual Community Auction Student Fundraiser – whether you were a bidder, buyer, donor, or volunteer. With incredible community support, the event was a big hit!
This year, we had 67 bidders and raised a net $13,315. Ninety percent of these funds will support student dues for 38 Trekkers families, and the remainder helps us cover some of the costs that make the event happen. These funds make it possible for students to participate in the experiences we offer and build relationships with teammates and mentors – all of which makes Trekkers so transformational. It’s heartwarming to see our community come together to give young people these opportunities.
A special thanks to our volunteers, donors, and local businesses who donated items for this event. The cookie platter welcoming guests and table of pies was especially robust this year! Everyone helped make the event unforgettable and impactful.
Thanks again for your unwavering support. Expedition season is just around the corner. We can’t wait to share all the incredible experiences that your support makes possible. A special thanks also to Lead and Advocate Business Sponsors: Central Maine Power, Naretiv, Adventure Advertising, Bay Chiropractic Center, Ocean Pursuits, Maine State Credit Union, and Horch Roofing.
