Blasts from the past kept stride with current and imaginative times during the 2024 Thomaston Fourth of July parade.
Some sights included an antique school bus occupied by members of the Lady Knox chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Rifle shots from war reenactors, youth sports teams, the Molar Express, political parties, and Spiderman.
Thousands of people lined Main Street for the 11 a.m. parade and covered their ears as fire trucks from many area towns, including Appleton and Lincolnville, waved a friendly hello.
