Thomaston Grammar School Field Day 2024 was an amazing day

Thomaston Grammar School held Field Day on Thursday, June 13. It was a beautiful, fun-filled day. Field Day was ocean themed.
The Wellness Committee transformed the lobby into an undersea wonderland and Mrs. Taylor-Soares, chair of the Wellness Committee, greeted students in the morning dressed as a shark. Kindergarten through second grade students had field day in the morning and 3rd through 5th grade students had field day in the afternoon.
Students rotated through six stations.
Station 1 was Sensory by the Sea where students searched for sea creatures in a pool of Orbeez and created sea-themed sensory bottles.
Station 2 was Crab Soccer where students walked like crabs and used a beach ball to work as a team to make a goal.
Station 3 was Sea Sponge Relay where students participated in a relay race with sponges to see which team could fill the bucket first.
Station 4 was The Cruise Ship Picture/Snack where students took an ocean-themed class photo aboard the cruise ship and had a delicious snack.
Station 5 was Octopus Tag where a student wore an octopus costume, of sorts, and attempted to tag their classmates.
Station 6 was Beach Volleyball where students played a volleyball game with a beach ball.
It was an amazing day!
