We would like to thank the students from Waldo County Technical Center Graphic Arts program, and their teacher, Hillary Steinau, for the beautiful posters honoring Dr Martin Luther King Jr. that are currently being displayed in store windows in Belfast.

The posters are displayed in coordination with Dr Martin Luther King Jr Recognition Day — the 36th annual event on January 20, 4:30 pm, starting with a candlelight walk from the Post Office in Belfast to a community gathering at The First Church in Belfast UCC. We are also grateful to the merchants who are happy and willing to display the posters! 

The students work is exemplary, as is the beautiful printing job done by JBlack Printing and I hope folks take notice of the terrific work as they enjoy downtown Belfast. And join us for the celebration at The First Church!
