Thank you to all individuals and businesses who helped host scrumptious Dec. 25 meal
Residents of Midcoast Maine came together on December 25 to celebrate community, good food, holiday music, and generosity.
People gathered at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Rockland to feast on a scrumptious meal prepared and served by Melissa Kelly, chef of Primo and her staff, and sponsored by Adas Yoshuron Synagogue of Rockland.
The turkeys were donated by Mainely Poultry, the vegetables were provided by Villageside Farm, North Branch Farm, Stubborn Ox Farm, Ararat Farms, Wildfruitings, and Second Frost Farm. Greenery was provided by Seasons Downeast, Guini Ridge Farm, Plants Unlimited, and Fresh Off the Farm.
Adas Yoshuron cooks baked the desserts, and the Atlantic Baking Company donated bread, Shaw’s and Hannaford donated gift cards. Fred Ribeck designed the poster, and Annabel Parker sang and played the piano.
Because of the generosity of the community and the many volunteers, over 300 people enjoyed a delicious homemade Christmas meal. Thank you to all the individuals and businesses who participated in making this event so special.
