PRESQUE ISLE — The Searsport boys and girls cross country teams hit the road to Presque Isle Saturday, Oct. 13 to compete in the Penobscot Valley Conference cross country championship at the University of Maine at Presque Isle campus. 

At the end of the meet, the Searsport boys team finished in ninth place in Class C with a total time of 2:07:20.60. The girls team did not register a team score in the meet with only two runners.
