Republican Caucus success
I wish to thank all the people who attended our recent Republican caucus March 29 in Waldoboro. Having 190 people show up was a testament to the quality of the two candidates and their enthusiastic campaigns.
Hearty congratulations to Abden Simmons who was selected to run for the upcoming special election, June 13, for House District 45, the towns of Waldoboro, Friendship, Washington, Louds Island and Bremen.
Since the House District covers two different counties, I was pleased to be part of a team building coalition with the Lincoln County Republicans and the State GOP team in Augusta.
Special thanks to the hard-working town clerks who supplied the proper voter lists and materials.
