Oceanside Middle School Girls Junior Varsity Soccer Team prevails against Medomak

Medomak Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Team opened their season home opener versus Oceanside Middle School Sept. 1. Final score was Oceanside 2 and Medomak 0.
Eight minutes into the game Audrey Colby for Oceanside found the back of the net putting them up 1 to 0. Medomak continued to battle but was unable to find the net.
Goalkeeper for Medomak, Ariel Castner, had 7 saves in the first half with 8 shots on goal.
Medomak had only 1 shot on goal and it was saved by their goalie.
During the second half, Medomak came out ready to play and worked hard. Roughly 18 minutes into the second half, Oceansides Emily White found the net giving Oceanside the lead 2 to 0.
The game ended with Oceanside 2 and Medomak 0.
Jordan Doughty, Rachel Barbour, and Peyton Eaton had a good defensive game, while Remi Winchenbach worked hard for the offense on the Medomak team.
