CAMDEN – The Megunticook Rowing organization will be holding their regatta Sunday, Sept. 13 on Megunticook Lake starting and ending a Barrett Cove.

There are two races, a 3-mile and a 10-mile.

7 a.m. Registration and Bow Number assignment

7:45 a.m. Competitor’s meeting, including important course description

8:30 a.m. Start, the first group of 10-mile racers. Other groups to follow, 1 minute apart

8:40 a.m. Start, the first group of 3-mile racers. Other groups to follow, 1 minute apart

9:30-ish Breakfast  -  followed by awards.

The drawing is Sunday, September 13, after the Megunticook Regatta. 

FIRST PRIZE is a FIRST CLASS TRIP to the Head of the Charles Regatta. 2 Nights at the gorgeous CHARLES HOTEL, V.I.P. access to the Harvard Women’s Crew Quarters (Weld Boathouse), and a $200 meal credit toward any of the 3 restaurants at the Charles Hotel (Rialto is a James Beard award winner). SECOND PRIZE is a Learn to Row program or a private rowing lesson, and third prize is a bag of Megunticook Rowing goodies.
