HOPE — The public is invited to attend the next meeting of the Hope Historical Society, Tuesday May 21, at the Hope Historical House, 479 Camden Road. There will be a business meeting at 6:30 p.m., followed by guest speaker Ret. Corporal Michelle Merrifield at 7 p.m.
Michelle Merrifield will share stories from her various experiences during her twenty-five-year career as a Maine Game Warden. Merrifield's talk is expected to include humorous and serious recollections of both human and wildlife encounters, as well as insightful and candid retelling of K-9 search and rescue incidents.
