BURNHAM — Lisa Jo Nickerson, 56, of Burnham passed away on February 7, 2025, at her home after a long illness. Lisa was born May 14, 1968, the daughter of Allan and Bonnie (Connell) Nickerson. She attended Pittsfield schools, graduating from MCI in 1986. She attended KVTC graduating in 1999 with an Associates degree in Medical Assisting. She also became a Personal Care Attendant in 1999.            

Lisa was the 1986 Class Agent for MCI and enjoyed planning reunions. She was also a professional tutor in college and technical writing at KVTC. She enjoyed shopping, cross-stitching, reading, and writing poetry. Lisa was known for her love of music ( Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Poison, Duran Duran were her favorites ) and attending many concerts.  Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.     

She was predeceased by two infant children, father Allan Nickerson, brother-in-law Kip Connolly, and father-in-law Freeman Patterson II.                           

Survivors include her husband, Freeman Patterson III; her "Sainted Mum," Bonnie Nickerson; her sister, Stephanie and James Bacon, nephews Tyler and Anne Connolly, Kyle and Shelby Connolly, great nieces Chloe, Claire and Sophia, great nephew Jackson; mother-in-law Mary Patterson; sister-in-law Stacy Patterson; special cousin, Sue Hamel; and dear friends Kelly Huff, Vickie Cyr, Jodie Hanson, Susan Theis, Catherine Snowman, Cindy Lasalle, Rosemary Boudreau, Esther Chesley, Chris Rush, Lori Day, Ron and Tammy Simmons.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
