Howard Jolliffe, 98, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024, at home.

He was preceded by his loving wife, Claire, whom he married in 1949. Together, they had two children: Steve Jolliffe and DM Jolliffe.

In the late 1940s, he started a career working with computers, developed programs for the railroad industry, and retired in 1985 as "Director of Information Services" from a major U.S. railroad.

He was an accomplished carpenter, a great "inventor," and had many talents and refined skills to bring his projects and imagination to life.

He was a devoted, loving husband and father, and his joyfulness, kindness, and adventurous spirit were an inspiration to everyone in his life. He will be deeply missed and remain in our hearts forever.
