Fun keeps going between Thomaston 4th of July events
Fri, 07/05/2019 - 12:45pm
By 1 p.m., Thursday, July 4, most of the parade revelers had retreated to shadier terrain after the annual Thomaston Parade. In their wake, the party continued – albeit, with a slower, quieter undertone.
Men swung horseshoes in memory of Cod Adams – a previous organizer of the annual horseshoe tournament.
Children kept bounce under the roofs of bouncy houses, floated the suds across the lawn, and refreshed in a kiddie pool.
In a spurt of energy through temperatures inching higher than 80 degrees, a dance troupe took to the polished floor.
