Camden Snow Bowl scraps pond skim, cardboard box derby; amends season’s schedule

CAMDEN — Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the Camden Snow Bowl has decided to cancel the March 21 pond skim event and March 22 cardboard box derby due to anticipated large crowds.
“This decision was made with caution in mind and concern for the safety of families, our staff and the general public,” a notice from the CSB said.
Until further notice, the CSB will be open for skiing on weekends only from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
