OLD TOWN — Two members of the Searsport District High School track and field program represented the Vikings well Saturday, May 29 while participating in the Penobscot Valley Conference track and field conference championships at Old Town High School. 

Ellis Braga and Thomas Bradley were the lone participants from Searsport competing in the meet, both in the boys pole vault competition. 

Braga, a junior, vaulted to 11 feet, good for second place and eight points on the day.

Bradley, meanwhile, vaulted to 8-06, good for fifth place and two points on the day. 

In team competition, Searsport placed 11th of 12 teams with its 10 points.
