'Aliveness' a force of nature that cannot be stopped
'Aliveness' a force of nature that cannot be stopped, I’m remembering.
When even a tiny movement occurs that reveals a way to act with agency towards aliveness, people of all living conditions rally. When hopelessness, death and destruction dominate a landscape, people take action towards greater freedom, because aliveness, however minor it may appear, brings hope alive.
Today the ending of a long era of attempts to “control” life and the lives of a nation called Syria came to an end. Dictatorships, armed with money and military can do so much to destroy, to inflict pain and suffering. One-way-or-the-highway, a march towards dominance to force life in only one direction, is not ever sustainable.
Life has too much complexity and will find a way to mutate, to create, to generate newness, to self-organize into new forms of societies where life can thrive.
So today I point to aliveness as a force of nature that cannot be stopped, only deadened or diminished in appearance and expression. That life force will find a way. Calling it out of each of us as only each of us can do, is a call to hope, towards what can be thriving life, one step at a time, as needed.
All appearances to the contrary, Life pushes always towards that which helps it thrive, towards new harmonies, new forms of actions, new choices that liberate and lift, helping all to rise.
Thank you to all who report on these events in our communities, in our lives where goodness shines, where hope is offered and new solutions emerge, un-imagined, until they are called out as needed, just in time.
