Pope Memorial Humane Society (PMHS) extends its deepest gratitude to the community for the tremendous success of the 6th Annual PMHS Pet Angel Tree. The outpouring of your support, the absolute best community, warms everyone's hearts and has truly made a difference.

This year, community members came together in full force to ensure that every single animal under the care of PMHS had at least one gift beneath the Pet Angel Tree. The generosity displayed brought tears to everyone’s eyes and is already impacting the lives of homeless pets in need.

While some presents may have seemed unconventional at first glance, each item serves a crucial purpose in meeting the unique needs of the shelter animals. For instance, donating pet-safe sidewalk salt ensures Honey, the dog, and her friend's paws are protected during those winter walks. The baby bunnies at PMHS appreciate the pine shavings and rabbit food contributed by our community members. Sushi, one of our feline residents at PMHS, is enjoying the donated canned cat food – a favorite among her culinary preferences. Such thoughtful gifts ensure that the animals receive sustenance and the comforts that make their stay at PMHS more enjoyable.
