ROCKLAND - On Tuesday, March 29, at the Maine Center for Contemporary Art, Annile Skaar and Jonathan Laurence presented a travelog of their out-of-the-ordinary trip to Iceland aboard a freighter. Told in two parts, Skaar described her adventure in story, pictures and a paint brush. Laurence told his through GoPro footage. The often amusing story told of the trip by way of the North Sea form Portland to Iceland. Life aboard ship and on the high seas chronicled as an adventure of the day to day life of the ship, its crew and two passengers. The yet unfinished CMCA building on Winter Street in Rockland hosted the event. The following photo gallery is of the presentation and the people who attended.
