‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ plays at Camden Amphitheatre with Shakespeare troupe

The Camden Shakespeare Festival is keeping audiences enthralled this summer with its productions, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, whichplays in the Camden Amphitheater through August 6.
The Camden Shakespeare Festival is a professional nonprofit committed to producing Shakespeare’s plays chiefly in the Camden Amphitheatre. At the core of its mission is a passion to make Shakespeare’s plays accessible to contemporary audiences, especially younger audiences.
“We believe that Shakespeare plays speak to everyone, because of their universal themes, their unforgettable characters and their extraordinary poetry,” the company said. “These plays are produced in association with the Camden Public Library.”
Its performances in Bath are produced in conjunction with the Patten Free Library; performances in Monson with Monson Arts and the Center Theatre; and in Bowdoinham with the Town of Bowdoinham.
